An Chuairt Chaidrimh - The Friendly Visit is an Irish charity which seeks to encourage and facilitate the practice of traditional Irish music and culture, including verse and storytelling in the intimate domestic environment of private homes. In doing so, we strive to bring local communities together and break down the growing issue of isolation and loneliness in both rural and urban areas. We seek to foster better understanding between communities with different cultural traditions and to develop trust and neighbourliness whilst promoting the tradition of the Irish céilí within the home environment."
