12,000 music CDs were borrowed from Clare County Library in 2013. A CD to celebrate 100 years of The Kilfenora Céilí Band released in 2009 was the second most popular music CD borrowed. Their 2012 release Chapter Eight also made the top ten list. As further evidence of the interest in traditional music in the county, Around the Hills of Clare: Songs and a Recitation from the Jim Carroll and Pat Mackenzie Collection reached third place on the list. Other Irish artists whose music reached the top ten list were Van Morrison and Glen Hansard.
